Wow, wow, wow. Although we’ve been lucky to experience business class with a few airlines, neither of us had ever experienced the level of service as we did with Qatar Airways. We flew Qatar Airways in business class from JFK-Doha-Nairobi and then Zanzibar-Doha-Bangkok.

We were outfitted with the coziest Qatar pajamas and Armani amenity kits (Armani!?); one for men and one for women. The business class seats themselves came with mattress pads, full bedding, and a few massage settings in the seat. They were so luxurious!

We can’t help but share about the amazing food we ate: smoked salmon, pistachio crusted lamb, vegetable curry, and a lemon tart.

But the best surprise was prior to landing in Doha, the entire business class flight crew surprised us with a dessert and cocktails they made to congratulate us on our honeymoon …

… and then let us look around in the cockpit after landing!

Our flight from Doha to Bangkok was equally fantastic with phenomenal service, more pajamas (yay!) and a huge ruse about needing to be blindfolded so they could spray the cabin, and then when we took off our eye masks, they presented this dessert to us.

We already sent Qatar an email with the list of the incredible crew thanking them for this fantastic experience. We can’t wait until our next flight with you!

Doha Airport

The airport at Doha, Qatar is beautiful. We had a lot of fun walking around and checking out the spa with full-length pool and fitness center (next visit!).

The Al Mourjan Business Lounge is epic, gorgeous, and serene. Complete with two restaurants, game room, a family wing, indoor pond underneath a giant staircase, and gorgeous showers. This is one of the most comfortable places to spend a layover!
